Nancy (Nan) Fifield McConnell, CFRE, is a major gift and campaign specialist, with whom Pat King Jackson has collaborated on several projects, including Chatham University, St. Paul’s School for Boys and Washington Tennis and Education Foundation. Nan is President of the McConnell Consulting Group and has over thirty years experience in the nonprofit sector including positions in senior management, government relations, program development and fundraising. She has managed capital campaigns, conducted feasibility studies and development assessments, prepared strategic fund development plans, consults on how to build a fund development program and has secured millions in gifts from diverse sources. Nan lectures, teaches, writes, and serves in leadership capacities on local boards. She has a Masters in Public Policy and holds a CFRE, the Certified Fund Raising Executive Certificate, issued by the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals/DC Chapter. In 2005 Nan was recognized as Outstanding Fundraising Professional at National Capital Philanthropy Day.
